When reading fairy tales to high school students, as a Philosophy teacher, I saw not only their enjoyment of the moment, but also the contributions that these texts had to offer in the formation of philosophical consciousness, through their imaginative presentation of reality. After an accurate approximate reading of philosophical texts, we arrived at an assertion that the image can be an enabler or an obstacle to knowledge and that the imagination is a vehicle for interpreting images. This dissertation seeks, through the analysis of the work Da Alma and some other texts by Aristotle, not only to conceptualize what imagination is and how it is a condition for knowledge, nor only to characterize the other faculties of the soul that will be listed. together with its functions, within the psychology and epistemology of the Stagirite, but also through understanding this process, understanding the importance of educating our imagination as a resource for the Teaching of Philosophy. In the first part of this work, based on the reading of Aristotle, we seek to develop our hypothesis that there is a process of internal apprehension of human knowledge, which needs to be respected to the point that educational projects must be based on it. We will try to update the question proposed from the Stagirite, using the thoughts of two philosophers/poets, G. K. Chesterton and C. S. Lewis, regarding the importance of phantasia/imaginatio. According to these contemporary writers, there is madness, escape from reality and lack of commitment to being in the rationalist and idealist cultures of the current centuries, in great contrast to what occurs with fantastic literature linked to what they call “fairy tales”. In effect, modern man has acquired bouts of madness, according to the Orthodoxy of G. K. Chesterton (2018), which makes him reject the universe and create a parallel reality for himself, according to a structure of thinking in which modern reason imposes a gap between the world he imagines and the principles of being. From C. S. Lewis we approach works such as The Discarded Image (2015), The Weight of Glory (2017), and his booklet The Abolition of Man (2005), aiming to think about an education of man that values the cultivation and exercise of imagination, according to the deepest roots of common experience. From these two authors, we seek to explain how classic fairy tales are rich in reasonableness, because they are the result of an imagination that is willing to mediate the experience of reality and reason, according to a tradition fed by common sense, revalued by Aristotle, Chesterton and Lewis. Finally, in the last section of the dissertation, these discussions will inspire action research, to be carried out as seminars, as recommended by Mortimer Adler (2014), described in his text How to speak, how to listen, aiming at the use of fantastic texts (myths and fairy tales) for the introduction to philosophy of students in the 1st and 2nd year of high school. The texts will initially be read aloud and then, in an exercise that involves imagination and thinking, they will serve as a basis for discussing philosophical problems linked to sub-areas of Philosophy, to which the same texts lead us.

This dissertation aims to use the curricular component Life Project, present in the New High School, as a strategy for the exercise of philosophizing, considering that Philosophy has a reduced workload, making it difficult to stimulate critical, reflective and creative. Philosophical reflection permeates the concept of constitution of the self, by social philosopher George Hebert Mead (2010), regarding intersubjective experiential memory, a concept present in Medeiros (2016), based on the guidelines proposed for the New Potiguar High School (2021) , in which the Life Project should not only be planning to achieve professional goals, but mainly to awaken in the subject the meaning of their existence and constitute a Self. Thus, this interface will take place through the Guidelines for Training Itineraries, especially “The Life Project”, articulated with the social philosophy of George Herbert Mead (2010), as a strategy for the exercise of philosophizing, forming protagonists and consequently constituting a social self - looking at “oneself”, the “other” and society. Taking as a basis the search to develop the student's citizenship and autonomy, unite philosophical practice with the “Life Project” around the formation of the student's life. Within the Training Itinerary curriculum, the possibility of working on content that develops areas of desire through the construction of a “Project for Life” opens up. The work aims to assist in the construction of a plan for their actions, through debates with themes that are directly associated with life practice, leading them to think, developing strategies that open up dialogue and that encourage the acquisition of the content to be worked on. in the Life Project, involving themes from students' daily lives, providing a search for knowledge and appreciation of “themselves” and their life stories. The concepts that guide the research are from the philosopher, sociologist and social psychology, George Herbert Mead (2010), in the theoretical-methodological aspects of symbolic interactionism by Herbert Blumer (2017), Mead and his commentators such as Phillip (1996), Casagrande ( 2012), Medeiros (2016) and Dantas (2020); the National Common Curricular Base – BNCC; the New Potiguar High School (2021); which aims to seek knowledge of “the self” and the construction of an identity, through social relations, and the construction of experiential and historical memory, as a result of the experiences of a collective memory by Halbwachs (1990), education and science linked to problem solving. These concepts must be mediated in an environment of reflection, listening and dialogue at school. In Mead's theory, this process of interaction leads to the construction of an identity, and these will contribute to the personal and social growth of students.

This work has as title “a study about the educational and humanist model of Kant: a conception about the student`s living project”, aims to create a methodological model to the philosophy teaching that assists the competence six of “BNCC-EM”, (Base National of the common curriculum-high school) permitting the “living projects” elaboration that contains the inserted commands from the competence number six, having as fundamental base the Kant`s educational model, as we can check in his book about “on pedagogy”. This model will permit the students to acquire an autonomous and emancipatory stance, able to meet in themself all the motives to deliberate around of their living project. In this sense, the model explains the necessity of the men in terms of to leave their titled “selvage condition”, to reach through a physical formation continuous, intellectual and moral, the excellence of character, the critical spirit, setting up like that, their emancipation, that is a necessary condition to think and to act with autonomy. The work idea here is to examinate the possibilities conditions in order to know if it can to be a reference able of to product in the high school students the necessaries competences to the living project development. The research is of the exploratory kind will have a qualitative approach where the focus of this research will establish the procedure linked to the case study, has as the target audience three first grades classes of the high school, of the Francisco Veras full time state high school – Angicos City – in RN State. The methodology was divided in three moments: the first, the discussion skills application and analyses of the Kant`s ethical and pedagogy (in this part the idea here is the internalization of some conceptions by the students and these conceptions will be a base in the third chapter); at the second moment, we have the pedagogy study and ethical of Kant; at the third moment, the living project construction, where will be supported though of the categories approached by Kant in his work “on pedagogy” , they are: the discipline, cultivation, civilization and the morality.

This paper investigates aspects of teaching and learning Philosophy, in the context of the Novo Ensino Médio, specifically, within the scope of the Life Project curriculum component. Secondary education consists of a period of training for the individual that provides the opportunity for the development of skills necessary beyond the school walls. This research is qualitative in nature, from a phenomenological perspective, based on the philosophical assumptions of Logotherapy, carried out through philosophical educational actions, at the Cônego Machado Comprehensive Citizen School, located in the city of Passagem-PB. The question that guided us in this formative exercise was the reflection on the work with the Life Project curriculum component, as a philosophical experience in dialog with Viktor Frankl's thinking, in order to identify his contributions to the Philosophy teaching. In the same way, we seek a better understanding of how the Life Project works, and how valuable the interface between Philosophy and Logotherapy can be for young students. To this end, in order to reflect on the role of education and the meaning of life, we looked at Logotherapy based on the works of Viktor Frankl (2021, 2011, 2016) and, in addition, on Husserl's phenomenological method (2000). Among the educational interventions carried out, we list the following activities: philosophical café, conversation circle and field trip. After analyzing the data in the field diary, we consider that the students had the opportunity to reflect and develop as people and citizens, by thinking about their ability to make sense of what happens in life and make their own choices with freedom and responsibility. We can therefore conclude that the work carried out helped to improve creative, experiential and attitudinal values. The Life Project provided a philosophical experience of great importance for the personal and professional projects of those involved. It also provided the opportunity to take philosophy teaching beyond the walls of the classroom.

Discusses, in this dissertation, the application of an intervention proposal based on reflection based on excerpts from philosophical texts used in Philosophy classes, which did not positively affect high school students at Escola Estadual Manoel de Melo Montenegro (High School full-time), in Ipanguaçu/RN. Thus, the objective is to analyze the educationalphilosophical intervention developed from a set of didactic units centered on the Paulo Freire method, using the popular poetry of Traíra (1986) and Caldas (2009) as a basis for the constitution of words generating, establishing a relationship between rational thinking and poetic thinking. The theoretical foundation is based on the studies of Plato (2001), in relation to philosophy and poetry, in addition to Aristotle (1964), Zambrano (2021) and Nietzsche (2012; 2009; 2008; 2005), constituting a research of a qualitative nature, of the action research type, in which the methodology of philosophical literacy is evaluated through popular poetry. The intervention proposal was developed from discussions about philosophy, presentation of the concept of sertão and the characteristics of popular country poetry, in addition to the study of a set of teaching units. The results showed that, based on Freire's vision (2022; 2011; 2001; 1997; 1963), there was recognition of the students' cultural identity, using popular poetry as the “being”, with verses impregnated with identity marks of the people of the Açu Valley. As a conclusion, it appears that it is possible to use popular poetry in philosophy classes, as a proposal for written production in a certain textual genre, and that the popular poetry of Traíra (1986) and Caldas (2009) can be a form of approximation between the student and philosophical knowledge. Furthermore, we conclude that, through the Paulo Freire method, it is possible for students to begin reading popular poems and begin to interpret them in a philosophical way, systematizing ideas in written productions about the poems, constructing meanings and implementing a form of philosophical literacy.

The problem that motivates this research is the lack of interest among high school students in reading philosophical texts. A fact frequently observed by philosophy teachers in high school. Students develop resistance to the discipline of philosophy through the reading difficulties they encounter when faced with philosophical texts. In this way, they distance themselves from the opportunity to develop more critical and reflective thinking through philosophical potential. In this sense, we ask: what strategies can be created in order to involve students with the themes of philosophical texts? Is it possible to contribute through working with Project Pedagogy to help students develop an interest in philosophical texts? In what ways can teaching philosophy at secondary level contribute to students' relationship and improvement with reading in a reflective way? To this end, we justify the research by the potential of philosophy to be a space for developing knowledge and developing critical thinking; as well as through the playful possibilities that involve Project Pedagogy, we aim to demonstrate that, through work with didactic projects, it can contribute to overcoming high school students' lack of interest in reading philosophical texts. And, at the same time, help them overcome their reading difficulties that they encounter when faced with philosophical texts. From these concerns, we propose the following Theme: “Teaching philosophy: project pedagogy in view of encouraging reflective reading with 2nd year high school students in a public school in the state of Paraíba”, which aims as a general objective: to investigate and put into practice educational-philosophical action through work with the Pedagogy of Didactic Projects in the face of reading difficulties of students at a public high school in the city of Monte Horebe, in the State of Paraíba, resulting in a lack of interest in reading philosophical texts. We take as a basis the thought of educator and philosopher John Dewey (1980), who defends a democratic education capable of giving meaning to the historical and social context in which students are inserted. In the project work proposal, Nogueira (2008) provides essential elements for the preparation of work projects; Rodrigo's writings (2009) present the challenges of teaching philosophy in the context in which schools serve many students per classroom, and Cerletti's arguments (2009), teaching philosophy as a philosophical problem. It is, therefore, qualitative research with the methodology of action research, which, according to Ghedin; Franco (2011), has the potential to generate, at some level, transformations in the researched environment. At the end of the research, we identified that, during the execution of the project, students' reading, and text comprehension skills were given new meaning. The students seemed more involved with the proposed readings and, above all, encouraged to make connections between the texts read and their own experiences, further enriching the discussion. Therefore, this philosophical exercise established itself as a possible motivation strategy and greater student involvement with reading and with the philosophical content proposed in a reflective manner.

This work addresses questions about the conceptual bases that favor the teaching of philosophy in High School, as an effective and feasible practice, through the use and experience in the classroom with the new PNLD 2021 books by area of knowledge. The objective of this research is to understand how the philosophy taught, through the approach by themes in the textbook in a public high school class, can contribute to the student experience in philosophy to constitute a critical learning proposal and as an experience of thought as a philosophical exercise. The methodology used is the bibliographic research of a qualitative nature, based on authors such as Deleuze and Guattari (2010), Gallo (2008, 2209, 2012) Cerletti (2004, 2009), and the educational legal bases that underlie the teaching of Philosophy as a discipline in High School, from LDB 9.394/96, to the ratification of the BNCC (2018), and the High School Reform (Law No. 13.415/2017). The action research/intervention was developed through classes aided by the new textbook in the area of Applied Human and Social Sciences, and sought to analyze whether it is possible to carry out a student experience as a philosophical exercise based on the themes set out in the book.

This research aims, in an philosophical-educational action, to apply "Concept Workshops" with students of Philosophy in high school. Therefore, from the philosophical perspective according to which Philosophy consists in the creation of concepts, as proposed by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari in What is Philosophy, and following the methodology, which would live up to the Pedagogy of the Concept, elaborated by the Brazilian philosopher and educator Silvio Gallo, an philosophical-educational action will be developed with the class of the 2nd year B of the Colégio Menino Deus in the city of Mossoró/RN. The hypothesis that guides the research is that the philosophical-educational action based on the "Concept Workshops" could provide students with a major philosophy in the philosophical formation itself, because the methodology of the workshops would expose students to a more active and creative environment. Thus, in the teaching-learning process, students would not be mere breeders and repeaters of the concepts elaborated by the philosophical tradition.

This study addresses the role of philosophical thought in the development of education for citizenship in high school, from the perspective of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. To develop this project, it was necessary to adopt a methodology that allows for a deeper understanding of the topic and the collection of relevant data for the research. The justification for this study was based on the importance of comprehensive student education, which goes beyond the mere accumulation of technical and academic knowledge. For the development of this work, the research was conducted with third-year high school students at a private school, the Escola Normal Rural, in the city of Limoeiro do Norte, Ceará, through the action research methodological approach. The problem addressed and developed in the project was: what is the impact of teaching philosophy, based on reflections on Rousseau, on the development of civic and ethical competencies in high school students? The active methodology of problem-based learning was used, offering a participatory and contextualized approach to explore the theme of philosophy in high school, in line with Jean-Jacques Rousseau's perspective. This approach stimulates critical thinking, ethical reflection, and civic engagement among students, contributing to a more meaningful and transformative education. The students were divided into groups and challenged to explore the problem question through research, group discussions, and analysis of related philosophical texts. The groups were encouraged to seek creative and well-founded solutions to the proposed problem, presenting their conclusions in seminars. The project dedicated to the study of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's philosophy yielded significant and impactful results for high school students. Throughout the classes, students were able to deeply explore the educational principles proposed by the philosopher, such as natural education, the importance of the social contract, and the comprehensive development of the individual. The presentations made by the groups allowed for a critical and reflective analysis of these themes, highlighting how Rousseau's ideas remain relevant in contemporary times.

The present work aims to analyze the absence of the concept of alienated work in the New High School based on the Philosophy textbook. Education, without a doubt, has always played important roles, which configure it as a means of constructing and circulating knowledge, as an ideological device for social, spiritual, political and cultural formation. Currently, education, in addition to adhering to neoliberal policy, has inserted the technical model with the aim of adapting the school to the business system, targeting the desires and needs of the world of work, according to the interests and demands of capital. From this perspective, education ceases to be a common good and becomes a private good, of a neoliberal nature, a commodity, an object. It is with clarity and evidence that we can see an educational economic system committed to the needs of neoliberal instrumental and scientific knowledge. In this way, it is necessary to expand reflections based on the construction of a critical and autonomous consciousness of students that aims at an emancipatory formation. This can be carried out through Marxian thought, which consists of showing through the materialist method that material conditions, such as the production and distribution of goods, shape the social, political and cultural structure of a society. Thus, the objective of the research in focus is to expand the space for mediating philosophical knowledge on the classroom floor, where free knowledge enhances the creativity of students, their capacity for creation and reinvention to put this knowledge into effect. in his social world, since Karl Marx himself preaches in his analyzes a secular, humanist and emancipatory education, which works with a form of knowledge that allows integration with the whole, with the universal.
