Entrepreneurship, protagonism and self-management as a way of life: the neoliberal governmentality in discourses of the Integral and Technical Citizen School (ECIT) model of the state network of Paraíba
discourse. Education. Neoliberal governmentality.
This thesis investigates the discourses of the educational model of the Integral and Technical Citizen Schools of the state of Paraíba. This research is made from the analytical assumptions of the Foucauldian discursive studies. By this bias, the relations of knowledge-power that engender the production of subjectivities in the webs of the ECI device are problematized. From this perspective, it is understood that the discourses of this educational model established in the state of Paraíba around 2016 emerge from the incursion of neoliberal governmentality in the educational programs of the world, massively composing a curriculum for competences and technical and socioemotional skills in order to constitute protagonist, entrepreneurial and autonomous subjectivities. It is argued that the business tonic is biased in the organizing documents of the ECI Model from the premises of disciplines such as Life Project and Oriented Study, as well as by technical assumptions of entrepreneurial disciplines and technical-scientific curriculum. Thus, the argumentation is based on the reading that Michel Foucault made about neoliberalism and the updates that Christian Laval and Pierre Dardot made on this theme, thinking it especially in the educational field. The thesis then problematizes through the studies of Safatle, Veiga-Neto and other scholars of the Foucauldian work and the archeogenealogy of discourses the means by which one seeks to conduct conduct conduct within the ECIT paraibanas through the discourses of entrepreneurship as a means of building itself, of life project as a way of existence and self administration, as well as the toada around self-management as co-founder of the student subject and flexible worker for the labor market and for the experiences of social transformation.
