This dissertation text seeks to analyze and discuss how one can start from the Historic Center of the city of Aracati-CE, listed by IPHAN in 2001, and the quilombola community of Cumbe, locatd in the same municipality, to create a heritage visitation guide focused on two spatialities of the Local History of the city of Aracati – CE. This product focuses on the themes of heritage education and education for ethnic-racial relations. To this end, a theoretical-methodological intervention is presented that aims to engender Anti-Racist Education, outlining possible impacts and contributions that the highlighted didactic-pedagogical proposal can offer to students' Historical Consciousness. Regarding methodological aspects, for the development of the research, some answers collected from online questionnaires, answered by students in the 9th year of Elementary School, are examined. These questionnaires are related to the themes of Cultural Heritage and Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. These data are also interconnected with Heritage Education and Local History methodologies. Therefore, based on authors such as Alberti (2013), Conceição (2023), Fernandes, A. (2012), Florência (2015), Gomes (2007), Lopes (2014), Macedo (2017), Nunes and Luz (2022 ) and Rüsen (2010), the objective is to make use of the city of Aracati – CE as an Educational and Anti-Racist Heritage, thus opening up space for thinking and proposing a more critical History Teaching, which reaffirms identities and which strengthen the feeling of belonging.
