RESUMO:

This research focuses on the actions in Heritage Education carried out by the Ecomuseum of Maranguape, located in the city of Maranguape, State of Ceará. Specifically, the study will analyze the 'Projeto Consigo," which develops actions in heritage education, understood here as a methodological strategy with the potential to work with students, local history themes, and concepts. The analysis and reflection on the reach of this project shed light on the role of community museums, especially ecomuseums, in the construction of historical knowledge, heritage education, local history, identity, and memory. From this perspective, understanding how interdisciplinary actions in heritage education were developed will enable the development of new methodologies, approaches, and actions that facilitate the acquisition of essential historical knowledge for the construction of citizenship and the formation of critical consciousness awareness in students.
