SUMMARY:

With the aim of carrying out work in the field of History Education, which is the objective of the Professional Master's Program in History (PROFHISTÓRIA), this research uses materials from previous editions of the National History Olympiad of Brazil (ONHB) as potential sources for the development of historical sensitivity, a concept developed by the historian Marc Bloch, in the 6th grade of Elementary School (Final Years). To this end, a selection of 40 ONHB materials was made, divided into three axes: temporal identification, analysis of diverse sources, and identification of multiple historical subjects. Based on this selection and processing of these materials, the objective is to present the ONHB as a source of possibilities for historical learning that is not only intended for students participating in the ONHB, but also for students in 6th-grade History classes.
