TRAJECTORIES OF RESISTANCE: Didactic use of Documents from the Association 64/68 Amnesty in History Teaching
Teaching History. Military Dictatorship. Amnesty
The work under consideration aims to use primary documents from the archival fund of the extinct Association 64/68 – Amnesty, as a pedagogical resource in the classroom, about a recent historical period that is still little explored in basic education classes. The execution of the work uses as sources the economic reparation processes of four teachers from Ceará, who began the legal process in the 2000s. The proposed theme aims to contribute with a fragment of the history of the transition to democracy after the 1964 dictatorship, reflecting on this passed through stories of ordinary people who were affected by it, and sought reparation for the damage suffered as a way of exposing what happened in the country between 1964 and 1985. We then propose to analyze primary sources of recent history and combine the documentary source with the production of other teaching materials in order to propose new approaches to the teaching of history.
