DEMOCRATIC MANAGEMENT IN THE LIGHT OF THE MUNICIPAL EDUCATION PLAN OF CAJAZEIRAS-PB
PNE. Goal 19. Democratic management. Municipal Education Plan.
This research proposes an analysis of the implementation of democratic management policies provided for in goal 19 of the Municipal Education Plan (PME) referring to school councils and the municipal council of education in the municipality of Cajazeiras - PB, comprising a reflection of the complexity of the processes of preparation and implementation of educational policies and participation of the local community. The choice of the theme addressed is justified by the fact that the researcher is a teacher of the Early Years of Elementary Education in the municipal education networks of two municipalities in the Sertão of Paraíba (Bernardino Batista and Poço Dantas), and a trade unionist. And, for believing in the relevance of this object of study for the field of education policies and management. From this movement, we hope with the study to reach the following objectives: to identify which are the actions foreseen in the PME of the city of Cajazeiras that are turned to the organization and performance of the School Councils and the Municipal Council of Education; Investigate the implementation of actions foreseen in the PME of the municipality of Cajazeiras aiming at strengthening the School Councils and the Municipal Council of Education; Describe the participation of the school community in school councils and in the Education Council of Cajazeiras.
