RESUMO:

The writing that will be given below, entitled: The pains that time does not cure: impacts on psychosocial care in Iracema/CE, represents the need to talk about mental health in the interior of Northeast Brazil, in the light of science, bringing to light barriers historical, political and social conditions that often compromise access to mental health care for the most vulnerable population. Thus, the research aims to understand the role of the NASF in psychosocial care for the population of Iracema/CE, asking: what mechanisms do users have to deal with their demands, considering the absence of a CAPS in the city and how the federal government and were your political decisions felt by users and professionals? To try to answer these and other questions, a method was designed based on authors such as: Minayo, Neto, Gil, Oliveira, Moré, Gomes and Bardin, who will provide support to develop a virtual field research - google forms, qualitative, with semi-structured data collection based on content analysis. As a result, the aim of this study is to know the place dedicated to mental health in the city of Iracema/CE through the speeches of the users who use the service daily and the multidisciplinary teams working in the locality.
