THE USE OF TERRITORIALIZATION IN HEALTH PLANNING IN THE SEMI-ARID

Considering the importance of a broader view of the determinants and conditioning factors of the population's illness process, especially aspects related to human interaction with the inhabited territory, and seeing territorialization as a fundamental instrument for planning, data systematization and policy foundation, whether the use of this instrument by the ESF within the scope of the peculiarities of the various aspects of the semi-arid region of the Northeast. From this perspective, and considering that PHC is the level of care closest to people, being the gateway to the health service, the question is: Territorialization has been used by the FHS in the cities of the VI Health Region of RN as a planning instrument and guide for public health policies? The general objective of this work is to evaluate the use of territorialization in the PHC of the VI Health Region. The specific objectives are: To describe the health management profile of the VI Health Region; Evaluate the use and knowledge about territorialization in the VI Health Region; To describe the dynamics of using territorialization in the VI health region of Rio Grande do Norte; Knowing how territorialization contributes to the health planning process. This is a descriptive study of a quanti-qualitative nature. The research will be carried out in the 37 municipalities that make up the IV Health Region of Rio Grande do Norte. The regional health, has its headquarters located in the city of Pau dos Ferros, in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. Research participants will be divided into two groups. The first group will be composed of the health secretaries of the municipalities that make up the VI URSAP. In the second group, FHS professionals from the city of Pau dos Ferros - RN will participate. Health managers corresponding to the 37 municipalities of the VI URSAP will be included in this survey; professionals who work directly with the FHS. Health managers who are not the secretary or secretary of health will be excluded from the research; Managers who have been in office for less than one year; professionals working in the FHS for less than a year. The collection will consist in the application of a questionnaire to the secretaries of health and interview with the professionals of the ESF of the city of Pau dos Ferros - RN, using the semi-structured script. Data of a quantitative nature, collected through a questionnaire, will be tabulated in Microsoft Excel and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Qualitative data will be analyzed using the content analysis method by thematic categories. The ethical aspects of the research will be fully respected.
