THE PHENOMENON OF THE HOMELESS POPULATION IN THE TERRITORY OF PAU DOS FERROS: THE VIEW OF HEALTH

Introduction: The PSR is characterized as a heterogeneous group, in extreme poverty, who develop their lives on the streets. This is a population that has been growing in urban centers, and is becoming common in the city of Pau dos Ferros -RN. Objective: The general objective of the work is to know how the health-disease process of PSR occurs in the territory of Pau dos Ferros-RN. Method: This is a predominantly qualitative research, with a descriptive character, which will be carried out in the city of Pau dos Ferros -RN, with People in Street Situation (PSR), and will use the snowball recruitment technique. Data will be collected in a mixed way, using a semi-structured interview technique and the production of a field diary. The information will be analyzed according to Bardin's content analysis, and will respect bioethical principles, and will be supported by resolution nº 510/16.
