RESUMO:

The publication of Ordinance No. 1,823 of August 23, 2012, which establishes the National Workers' Health Policy (PNSTT), was a significant advance in terms of worker health in Brazil. In this scenario, health work presents a high physical and emotional burden, considering the complexity and multifactoriality of the health-disease process and the relationships that are established in work processes, their objective and subjective conditions. In view of the above, the general objective of the research will be to analyze the organization of the Workers' Health Policy in RN. It is a combination of bibliographic and documentary analysis, exploratory and descriptive, of a qualitative nature. The research will be carried out in 03 (three) stages: Stage 1 - carrying out integrative research, Stage 2 - documentary analysis of the PNSTT will be carried out; RENAST; State Health Plan (2020/2023); National Plan to Combat the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020/2023); Ordinances; Decrees and other official documents of SESAP-RN. On a secondary basis, data will be collected from the Occupational Health Surveillance Information System (VISAT). Stage 3 - institutional visit to the health regions, a semi-structured interview will be carried out with the 08 (eight) coordinators of the occupational health departments. Analysis and interpretation of research results will be based on Laurence Bardin and simple statistics such as frequency and percentage. Therefore, the study will contribute important information about the organization of the PNSTT in RN, and about the structuring and implementation of the worker's health protection network in the state. We also hope that the data obtained will provide policy management with subsidies that promote effective changes in care and comprehensive health care for this category. As well as, collaborating with the scientific debate on this topic that is so necessary in the current context.
