RESUMO:

Education, in all its nuances, is part of the construction of societies, helping in the process of growth and evolution of nations, transforming subjects and providing them with the formation of skills, abilities, critical awareness and thinking, promoting citizenship, autonomy and social participation. Law No. 9,394, in its Article 2, deals with education, the duty of the family and the State, inspired by the principles of freedom and the ideals of human solidarity, its purpose is the full development of the student, his preparation for the exercise of citizenship and qualification for work (BRASIL, 1996). However, it is necessary to plan, think, reflect and discuss the best alternatives and possibilities for building an effective and efficient teaching and learning model. The National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) explicitly states its commitment to integral education. Curricula and what to teach have marked our identities and professional trajectories. The degree courses, those that “train teachers” required by schools on a full-time basis, make life complete. The present work aims to analyze public education from a comprehensive and full-time education perspective, observing the various parameters, plans, programs, educational laws, guidelines and/or curricular proposals that provide for this teaching model, reflecting on its importance for the construction of citizenship and how comprehensive school can contribute to the improvement of learning, knowledge and knowledge, as well as the development of skills and abilities for the 21st century, for the world of work, for life in society and social practice .
