Double perovskite. Sol-gel. Multiferroics.
The synthesis of new materials is something of extreme relevance and technological
importance. The development of a new material requires detailed study, both from the
perspective of synthesis, as this is what determines the possibility of success, as well as in
the study of its characteristics and properties presented. Materials with a double perovskite
structure are in great demand, due to their properties, and the great possibility of being
part of a group of materials called: multiferroic (presenting two or more ferroic properties simultaneously). All this interest occurs due to the countless possible technological
applications. This work’s main objective is to carry out in-depth analyzes of the double
perovskite La2FeCoO6, synthesized with pure phase, using the sol-gel method, at different
temperatures.
