RESUMO:

The present research has as its object of study the policy in the process of creation and performance of the Center for Education and Youth and Adults (CEJA), Professor José Hercílio Silvério Virgínio of the Municipality of Aracati/CE, created by Municipal Decree nº 041/2021 of 07 /04/2021 and regulated by Resolution 003/2021 of the Municipal Council of Education of Aracati (CME). Its general objective is to analyze, in the context of practice, political productions with and from the creation of CEJA, as an exclusive school unit for the provision of Youth and Adult Education. Its specific objectives are: 1) to identify policies developed by CEJA/Aracati-CE subjects; 2) understand how the subjects act and perceive themselves as policy producers, in the midst of difficulties, resistance and/or ruptures in the perspective of a new school unit of EJA; 3) identify and relate the performance of subjects (teachers/pedagogical management) and political production through the institution's Curriculum and Pedagogical Proposal. This is a research with a qualitative approach, as pointed out in the perspective of Bogdan and Biklen (1994), presenting CEJA Professor José Hercílio Silvério Virgínio/Aracati-CE as a natural environment and direct source of data collection, through semi-structured interviews, group focal and documentary sources, from the subjects who developed their activities there. Dialoguing with the policy cycle, by Ball and collaborators (1994; 1998) and with the theory of performance by Ball, Maguire and Braun (2016), articulated with the studies of Mainardes (2006) and Lopes and Macedo (2006, 2011) , starts from the understanding that investigating the resignification of policies in the school context is to examine, for example, their relationships, appropriations and interdependencies, and that contextually, policies are processes built in close relationship with the wills and interests of the subjects who work in that space .
