RESUMO:

This research work, whose theme involves a decolonial curricular discussion at EJA, aims to recognize and value practices and cultural knowledge of clay makers who work with clay, in the municipality of Assú/RN as propositions for the construction of curricula at EJA. Methodologically, we will use the qualitative approach of everyday studies, and as a procedure liberating conversations, based on decolonial conceptions (Mignolo, 2008), which in order to detach oneself from Western concepts and the accumulation of existing knowledge, academically, it is necessary to think and act politically other 'decolonial' ways of education. The discussion intends to contribute as a driver of other meanings to the construction of curricula in EJA, specifically when it refers to cultural and social knowledge practiced by young, adult and elderly people of this modality in their daily contexts.
