EDUCATION ON STAGE: THE ESPECTACLE AS AN EDUCATIONAL STRATEGY FOR LIFE
Education, Body, Spectacle and Creative Process.
We present this research as an invitation to contemplate an education that takes place from the meanings constructed in the body through its experiences, in this way, we dedicate our attention to the education that takes place from the body and in the body, expressed in the senses and meanings woven in it in the context of its experiences in the world, especially those that take place in the field of art and culture. In this sense, we look at the spectacle, more precisely at its creative process, and its educational power as an aesthetic experience, capable of revealing elements that add to the revelation of possible understandings of the world, actions and human relationships, based on the following problem: How can the creation and presentation of spectacle offer significant elements in order to compose an educational action based on the body? Faced with this question, this research aims to understand the show as a teaching-learning space-time, expanding the understanding of education and considering the experiences of the body. In this way, it also seeks to describe the process of creating the spectacle “Quando a chuva passar!”, situating and contextualizing our lived experience with reference to studies on creativity and, finally, reflecting on the process of creating the show as a poetic experience, which provides opportunities for the construction and reconstruction of senses and meanings, based on the experience of its artistic, cultural and educational dimensions. This research has as its methodological reference the phenomenological attitude proposed by Merleau-Ponty, which affirms knowledge as an understanding of our experiences in the world. In this way, this research with a qualitative approach is supported by the experience lived in the process of creation, production and presentation of the spectacle “Quando a chuva passar!” in the context of Basic Education.
