Literature in high school: with how many readings does a young reader form?

This research has as its main theme the work with the literary text in the school stage of high school, with a view to training the young reader. Setting itself up as an action research, we will go to the field to implement a study with students from a 3rd grade high school class, and three teachers, regents of this class in the curricular components that are part of the area of Languages and its technologies. Its general objective is to analyze the work with the literary text in the reading formation of young people in high school. As for the specific objectives, we list: a) Investigate which literature teaching practices are present in the research locus School; b) Check the proximity and interest aroused by literature, from the moments of reading mediation in the classroom; c) to analyze the impacts that the mediations of literary reading, in high school, cause in the reading formation of the participating students. As for its nature, the research is classified in terms of its approach as qualitative. As for the proposed objectives, the research is classified as explanatory. The instruments used for data collection will be: the individual semi-structured interview with the teachers, the semi-structured collective interview after reading mediation meetings, application of a questionnaire via google forms, reading diary and field diary. The collected data will be analyzed using the content analysis method
