Regular student of the PPGE
The selection processes of students for the master's degree at PPGE are carried out annually and are governed by specific calls. The call for regular students is published, generally, at the end of the year prior to the completion of the stages of the selection process.
The call presents the stages of the selection process and the specific rules for each stage of evaluation. The selection process as a regular student includes the following stages: written test, evaluation of research project, interview and analysis of curriculum.
The candidate must, in the act of enrollment in the selection, present a research project (the specific instructions for preparing the project are published in the call).
The places are distributed by lines of research and teachers already in the selection, according to rules established by the Associate of the Program.
The selection calls always have rules for the requirement of knowledge of a foreign language. Thus, candidates need to prove a level of foreign language proficiency until the end of the first period of the course.
To enroll in the regular PPGE selection process: i) holders of undergraduate degrees in undergraduate courses, obtained in institutions recognized by the MEC: ii) holders of diplomas from other higher level courses, accredited by the National Council of Education, that, according to the evaluation of the Program, meet the objectives of the Course; iii) holders of undergraduate diplomas from foreign institutions, who, according to the evaluation of the Program and in accordance with Brazilian laws, meet the objectives of the Course.
Admission to the program is annual, with the school year divided into two periods. First period classes generally begin in April or May.

ANNOUNCEMENT 002/2018: The PPGE coordination communicates that, due to the optional point decree on 03/29 and the day of the Passion of Christ on 03/30, there will be no activities in our program on those dates. It also communicates that, on 04/05 and 04/06, registration for the selective process of admission to the PPGE 2018 will be made in the morning and afternoon shifts, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and not only in the shift in the morning, as informed in BID NOTICE PPGE/UERN No. 001/2018.

Special student
Based on the decision of the Associate of the Program, calls for selective processes of Special Students may be launched, before the beginning of the teaching periods, to take subjects in the master's degree at the PPGE.
Special Students are characterized as those who are not linked as regular PPGE students.
In these selective calls, the subjects that may be taken by Special Students, the number of places available for that category of students, as well as the criteria related to the candidate selection process are available.
