ABSTRACT

 

Early Childhood Education is the first stage of Basic Education, being the basis for the integral development of the child and relevant in the promotion of ludic activities through plays and games, significant mechanisms for the learning. In this sense, it is possible to pertinently articulate such mechanisms in order to transmit ethical values and attitudes that will be taught to children with the purpose of being passed on throughout their lives. In view of this, the present research will have the objective of analyzing the contribution of teaching ethical values in Early Childhood Education from the ludic language, having as a bias a ludic intervention with cooperative and competitive games. The theoretical foundation will be anchored in Angotti (2008), Ariès (1981), Barbosa (2006), Brasil (1988, 1996, 1998, 2010, 2006 and 2018), Devries and Zan (1998), Freire (2005), Freire (1987, 1989, 1996, 2013), Huizinga (2000), Kishimoto (2001), Kuhlmann Junior (1998), Macedo (2018), Morin (2011), Papalia; Feldman and Martorell (2013), Piaget (1999), Vygotsky (1998) among others. The research project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) of the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) with Opinion nº 5,646,802. The research methodology will be of a qualitative nature, with technical procedures of bibliographical and documentary research (PRODANOV; FREITAS, 2013), and will also have action research as an investigation technique (THIOLLENT, 1986). The locus of the investigation will be at the Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education Prof.ª Telma Batalha, located in the municipality of Pau dos Ferros/RN, with 1 teacher and 23 children from Preschool II (5-year-olds) as participants. The study, by appropriating the action-research technique, will propose a ludic intervention, using ludic language with the development of cooperative and competitive games in a Preschool II class. The instruments for data collection will be: direct observation at the locus, the semi-structured interview with the teacher, the playful intervention with the children and for data records we will have the field diary. Thus, the collected data will be analyzed through content analysis (BARDIN, 2016). Therefore, it is expected that the study can contribute to Early Childhood Education regarding the importance of teaching children ethical values and attitudes from an early age through a playful language in the educational environment.
