RESUMO:

Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs): their role in the ethical humanist teaching of high school students” is a scientific study linked to the Graduate Program in Teaching (PPGE), of the Academic Master's Course in Education (CMAE), from the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN), Advanced Campus of Pau dos Ferros (CAPF). We feel that contemporary education has privileged content and technical training to the detriment of the training of the “human being. From the above, the problem of humanist ethical education at school presents us with two scenarios: the first about the rescue of humanist ethics. The other, technologies as mediators. We could still unfold one more scene, that of youth, which presents itself at a moment in human life, in which they need to form a reflective thought about the routes they will take in their own life. Thus, the investigation aims to “Understand the role of TDICs in the humanistic ethical teaching of high school students”. In order to do so, we seek to unveil the question: What is the role of TDICs in the humanistic ethical teaching of high school students?. We emphasize that the work is qualitative, descriptive and interpretive. Therefore, the research was designed in two moments, in its first part the theoretical contribution was developed from the bibliographic and document review, structured in three chapters, namely: a) Humanist Ethics in Education; b) TDICs: from historicization to the fabrics between Education, Digital Culture and humanism and, c) The happening of Digital Technologies in High School. Subsequently, we adopted the field study in the empirical research and, as data collection techniques, the thematic workshop with high school students and the use of questionnaires with teachers of this stage. We hope that the research can bring reflections and contributions on the impressibility of a teaching practice based on humanist ethical values and that digital technologies will also corroborate this "happening", flowering a teaching and learning process in the perspective of a fairer society. and "human".
