RESUMO:

This research investigates the teacher's pedagogical practice at Early Childhood Education and the use of television as a pedagogical tool in the classroom. Therefore, it seeks to answer the following questions: How does the teacher's pedagogical practice at Early Childhood Education through the use of television as a pedagogical tool? What knowledge can be re-signified, about the use of television as a pedagogical tool, based on a process of reflection and collaboration on the practice? That said, the research was organized with the aim of understanding the teacher's pedagogical practice at Early Childhood Education through the use of television as a pedagogical instrument, in the perspective of reframing the practice through the process of reflection and collaboration. As for the theoretical-methodological framework, it is based on the qualitative research approach, on the dialectical method and on the type of collaborative research. The locus of the research will be in a public school of the municipal teaching network, in the city of São Miguel-RN. With regard to procedures, it is guided by Smyth's (1991a, 1991b) reflective cycle, considering the following steps: Description; information; confrontation and reconstruction, which will subsidize the analysis of the narratives of the teachers' practices, through a reflective and formative process. The results of the developed theoretical studies show the need for mediated, articulated and reflective pedagogical practices to enhance the teaching and learning process of children, combined with the use of technological and pedagogical instruments, such as television, which arouse interest and respect the rights of learning and development, as well as the fields of experiences of Early Childhood Education. In this sense, the importance of the teachers' understanding regarding the senses and meanings of the pedagogical practice itself is perceived, and also the possibility of re-signification.
