RESUMO:

The research in question addresses the beliefs and experiences of teachers of Languages and codes of High School in a public school in relation to the use of digital technologies in language teaching. Recent studies reveal that, after the pandemic, students faced major challenges in their learning, making recomposition actions necessary. Faced with this reality, our objective is to investigate the beliefs and experiences of teachers in relation to the use of digital technologies in the teaching-learning process of students. Initially, we will address beliefs and experiences based on theorists who have discussed this topic, followed by studies related to the insertion of digital technologies in the teaching-learning process. In methodological terms, a qualitative, descriptive and interpretative approach is followed. We are based on the study of ethnomethodology, which has a qualitative approach and adequate procedures for our research, in addition to emphasizing the social sciences, which will contribute especially to the understanding of the experiences and beliefs of education professionals in the educational context in question. For this, we will use a focus group composed of 9 teachers from the Languages and Codes area of a public high school. The construction of the theoretical foundation was based on studies by Dewey(2023), Miccoli (2007, 2010), Barcelos (2001, 2004, 2007, 2006, 2010), Moran (2000), Oliveira(2011, 2020). It is important to highlight the relevance of these analyses, both for understanding the reality of language teaching with technology, and for supporting our practice in the classroom and future research.
